So, I’ve been spending lots of spare moments weeding out extraneous possessions. Sent a box of video tapes off to be recycled and had some personal tapes made into digital files. A project for sometime in the future, to edit and burn them.
Lots of old kiddie toys have moved out of the basement and into other people’s homes. (thanks Craigslist)
And, since I’m concentrating on larger paintings and drawings now, all the smaller paintings are now home, and will be put up on a couple sales websites. I’ve even thought I should have two separate identities- one for less expensive smaller work, and one for larger pieces that I am marketing to consultants and perhaps new galleries.
It feels good to sweep out things and make room for new ideas.
