it’s not that I haven’t been painting- but hey- it’s time for the annual cookie, fruitcake-baking extravaganza. Each cookie gets plenty of attention and individual outfits where appropriate!
‘Been making some progress in the studio as well- the nice slow but thoughtful pace of being with the work more continuously is always helpful to see subtle changes and possibilities. I am paying more attention to the environment behind the vines, and looking for ways to create counter movements and forces to the winding and flowing qualities. Words don’t paint the picture very well, so I’ll post some images soon.
