This body of work grew from drawings of actual grain elevators and industrial sites to become a totally fictional world.
My main interest was trying to use these humble, and somewhat ambiguous structures to convey different moods, while inventing and building environments for them. Each “site” implied a journey of sorts: with the color used, with various obstacles and tangled aspects to explore. Not always entirely benign, but hopefully seductive.
